Fundraising

Fundraising ensures our kids get great resources to support their learning! We’ve recently funded iPads, playground markings, sandpit, musical instruments, art supplies and programs, library books, philosophy resources and training, interactive whiteboards for all classrooms, fences and carpets. Some ongoing fundraising activities include:

Name Labels
Buy name labels from MyNameLabel.com.au using the code DPSS051218 to get 5% discount and support our school. Include a name and mobile number on your labels to help us return lost property to you!

Contribute your cans/bottles to “Containers for Change” to fundraise for the school!

Look for any drink containers with a 10 cent refund mark on the label:  plastic bottles, glass bottles, drink cans, and small juice/milk containers.

You have 3 options for contributing:

1. Bring your Containers to School

Drop off anytime to the green Containers for Change bins:
– in the staff car park near the entrance by B block (Please don’t park cars in the staff carpark)
– 2 bins under D block

2. Drop off to Containers for Change

–  find your nearest drop-off point, and donate to the school’s Scheme ID C10017770
https://www.containersforchange.com.au/qld/where-to-return

You can donate anonymously just by quoting the Scheme ID.

Or, you can use your own Containers for Change account, and set your preferred payment method to donate. Then you can track your contributions as they’ll show up in your return history.

Book Club
We take part in Scholastic book club once a term. A booklet is sent home with kids. Submit the order form at school or use the LOOP app, which will link your order to our School. Orders are organised by a parent volunteer and distributed via classrooms.
