Once meals are distributed to students, they are treated the same as food brought from home. Parents and carers should be aware that hot and cold meals are intended to be eaten promptly at the scheduled break time. After distribution, the school does not control how food is stored in student bags. We encourage families to discuss safe food handling with their children, including eating meals at the intended break and not saving hot meals for later in the day.
